I suppose every child does it at one time or another, and Iain chose today: he cut his own hair. When I said that we would take him to get his hair cut this weekend, he protested: 'I already did it myself!' True, but when it isn't so carefully combed (and in such a blurry picture), he looks remarkably like a 4-year-old with a receding hairline. And I expect I'll be finding bits of his hair for several days to come.
